About Us

The main purpose of the Union's activity is to develop a plan of measures for the post-war recovery and development of Ukraine, to identify and formulate proposals for priority reforms, and to prepare initiatives and draft regulatory acts for the effective operation and recovery of Ukraine during the war and post-war periods.

Our Goals

The Union's main tasks and areas of work, as established by current legislation, are:

  • monitoring the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals;
  • seeking funding for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals;
  • expanding Ukraine's spheres of cooperation;
  • improving mechanisms to protect the financial interests of Ukraine and the EU in implementing financial cooperation instruments;
  • developing and implementing a national cross-border cooperation programme;
  • expanding cooperation between Ukraine and the EU in the digital economy to integrate Ukraine into the EU Digital Single Market;
  • auditing losses incurred as a result of the war;
  • restoring and rebuilding infrastructure;
  • construction, urban planning, and modernisation of cities and regions;
  • digitalisation;
  • promoting the development of education and science;
  • promoting the development of culture and information policy;
  • environmental safety;
  • establishing cooperation with enterprises, institutions and organisations of any ownership and legal form — including those without legal-entity status — funds, grant providers, and local communities on matters related to the Union's activities;
  • carrying out other activities close to the statutory ones that are not prohibited by law.
